This role involves setting up, calibrating, and operating CNC equipment, performing hourly quality checks, monitoring machine output, and generating detailed production reports for management.RequirementsMinimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and basic math skillsExtensive knowledge of CNC machine operationsProficiency in using precision measuring tools (gauges, calipers, etc.)Ability to follow clearly defined procedures and work under supervisory directionAbility to lift/move up to 30+ lbs.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret technical drawings to determine production specificationsTranslate part drawings into accurate measurements for productionSet up and calibrate machines and tools for each jobOperate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, milling, and grindingConduct test runs to verify machine accuracy and compliance with specificationsMonitor machine output and perform quality inspections throughout the shiftRecord production data and prepare comprehensive reports for managementEnsure all machine procedures comply with company standards and safety protocolsClean and inspect machines and work areas at the end of each shiftParticipate in training sessions and safety meetingsPhysical DemandsRegular standing, reaching, and use of hands/fingers to operate tools and machineryFrequent walking and standing; occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouchingAbility to stand and bend for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally 30+ lbs.Work AuthorizationApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Equal Opportunity StatementArcadia Inc. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
