Telecommunications Engineer - III

Location: Minneapolis, MN Salary Range: $60 - $65 / Hr on W2 Introduction Join our team as a Telecommunications Engineer where you will have the opportunity to work in the vibrant city of Minneapolis, MN. This role offers a unique blend of fieldwork with a small portion of work done from home. If you have a passion for network systems and enjoy hands-on work, this position is perfect for you. Required Skills & Qualifications Candidate must have MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) experience. Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting coax and Cat6a Ethernet cabling. Knowledge and experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals). Must possess a vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment. Prior work experience in the relevant industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for us on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Knowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility-based applications. A four-year college degree or equivalent field experience. Experience with working on multiple dwelling/commercial building rooftops (flat and/or pitched). Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design and install equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks. Coordinate installation of new in-building networks or equipment. Evaluate multi-tenant buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems. Manage large build projects involving broadband services to ensure timely planning and implementation.
