Job DescriptionAssembly TechnicianNew Hudson, MI (Onsite, Full Time)Pay: $22-$27/hourDuration: 12-month contractStart Date: ASAPSchedule: Day Shift, 6:00-6:30 AM start, Monday-Friday (40 hrs/week, overtime as needed)OverviewWe are seeking an Assembly Technician to support vehicle builds by assembling and installing components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with engineers, fabricators, and technicians to help deliver high-quality vehicles and prototype projects.Key Responsibilities• Assemble vehicle components and subassemblies per drawings and process instructions• Inspect assemblies to ensure accuracy, quality, and functionality• Work closely with engineering, fabrication, and mechanical teams to meet deadlines• Maintain clear documentation and accurately track work progress• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPERequired Skills & Qualifications• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with basic hand tools• Excellent attention to detail and quality• Ability to work independently and within a team• Reliable, punctual, and able to commute daily to New Hudson• Able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods• Flexible to work overtime, including weekends as needed• High School diploma or GED• Minimum 2 years of relevant experienceDesired Skills (Not Required)• Experience in low-volume or prototype vehicle assembly• Vehicle repair, diagnostic, or troubleshooting background• Basic fabrication or metalworking skills• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)• Experience with pneumatic, cooling, or high-voltage vehicle systems• Welding, fabrication, paint, or powder coat experience• Owns personal tools suitable for onsite useTop Qualifications • Previous vehicle assembly or repair experience• Dependable, with reliable transportation and availability for 40-50 hrs/week• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand most of the dayInterview Process• Phone Screen• Onsite interview with hiring manager#IND1#ZR Meet Your RecruiterBryan St. Onge
