Employees may perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organizationROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:Operate Heavy equipment to support the construction of exploration drill pad sitesOperate Heavy equipment to support the construction of various projects around the siteOperate Heavy equipment such as water trucks, haul trucks, backhoe, telehandler, skid steerResponsible for understanding changes to assigned work areas and any potential hazardsWork on various small earthwork projects around the siteHelp maintain and manage the water system on siteHelp maintain the site facilities and surrounding areasHelp with various other projects as neededMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:High School diploma or GEDAbility to achieve Caterpillar certification for operating a backhoe, water truck, and haul truckAbility to operate Heavy EquipmentAbility to operate water pumps, fusing machine, valves, etc.Ability to work & multi-task in a fast -paced environmentStrong work ethicAbility to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees FahrenheitAbility to lift 50lbsCan move over uneven terrainAbility to work up to a 12-hour shift (day and night shifts)Maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplaceHave reliable personal transportation to the site location (transportation at the site will be in company vehicles)Possess a valid Driver's LicensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Current MSHATwo years' experience operating heavy machineryCurrent Caterpillar certificationsNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
