Job DutiesResponsible for daily Pre-Task Planning of work performed in the fieldAssist journeyman pipefitters or peers with the demolition, de-installation, rigging, fitting, and/or installation of equipment, supports, and pipe on siteCommunicate clearly verbally, digitally, and in writingFollow all safety rules and regulationsProactively receive mentoring from a journeyman pipefitter or SupervisorsUse hand and power tools with proper certificationOver the four-year period of the apprenticeship, learn and apply knowledge of the following:Layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systemsMaking and reading isometric drawingsReading construction plans and shop drawings for pipe systemsInspecting and testing piping systemsPiping industry codesMay be required to take Pipefitter Journeyman License Test after four yearsMay be required to travelMaintain a good attendance record and comply with apprenticeship program requirementsMaintain a record of on-the-job training and submit to apprenticeship program as requiredOther duties, as assignedEmployee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidaysQualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious construction experienceOSHA 10 preferredMust successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol testingMust have personal hand toolsMay be required to register with the appropriate apprenticeship board as an apprentice pipefitter or welderMay be required to take specialty trainingPerks & BenefitsCompetitive and top-market wagesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceContinuous training opportunitiesCareer growth and development opportunitiesPersonal Leave401(k) planEducation tuition reimbursementGym membership reimbursementAnd much more Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
