This role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality gas turbine engine components in a clean, organized, and team-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate various CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders, shapers, and select manual machinesMachine precision aerospace components to engineering and customer specificationsPerform part inspections and testing to ensure compliance with blueprints and manufacturing standardsVisually inspect parts for burrs, defects, or surface damageMaintain accurate documentation and part identification per production requirementsCommunicate effectively during shift changes to ensure continuity and accuracy of workPerform routine maintenance on equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaSupport additional machining-related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 4 years of experience operating lathes, mills, or grindersExperience with precision machining requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, planning documents, and manufacturing specificationsWorking knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Experience machining aerospace materials such as stainless steel, Inconel, Hastelloy, and aluminum is a plusWillingness to work afternoon or night shiftMachine-specific training availablePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to push or pull up to 60 lbsGrip strength of at least 50 lbsAbility to reach above shoulder height (approximately 65 inches)Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periodsSecurity & Compliance RequirementsU.S. Citizenship requiredMust be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance if requiredEmployment subject to pre-employment drug screening in accordance with company policyEqual Opportunity EmployerThis employer is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals and maintains a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.CNC Machinist | CNC Lathe Machinist | CNC Mill Machinist | Manual Machinist | Tool Maker | OD/ID Grinder
