Accounts Receivable - A/R Clerk SNI Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Receivable (A/R) Data Entry Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Training is available for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities Process incoming mail payments, including checks and unapplied route collections Manage credit card, ACH, and EFT transactions; apply payments, generate receipts/statements, and maintain records Verify transaction postings and update Collections Logs to resolve discrepancies Track route collections using Deposits in Transit reports and follow up with branches as needed Reconcile cash receipts with deposits to maintain accurate A/R balances Maintain Cash Receipts books in accordance with internal controls Respond to customer payment inquiries and assist with payment tracking Upload invoices to EDI portals Enter invoices and service tickets accurately and timely Support other accounting departments as neededQualifications Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy Proficient data entry skills and comfort working on a computer for extended periods Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new processes Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn; training provided for the right candidateAdditional Details Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Work Location: 100% on-site Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
