Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to the Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager.Position SummaryThe Attorney Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Attorney Talent Acquisition Manager to help manage the full cycle recruitment process for lateral associates, non-track attorneys, student recruiting programs, summer associate program and first-year associate program. This position may also provide additional support to other offices. This role will require periodic travel between the Fort Lauderdale and Atlanta offices. Key ResponsibilitiesWorks with office and/or practice leadership on strategic identification and development of attorney candidate pipelinesMeets regularly with office management and/or practice group leadership to review hiring needs and potential candidatesSupports the student recruiting, summer associate, and first-year associate programsCoordinate and attend law school recruiting and networking activities, and collaborate with other offices as neededCoordinate summer associate program events and practice group specific trainingSupport the recruiting brand by creating an exceptional candidate experienceMaintain and provide information and reports regarding lateral and student recruitment to office managementProcess prompt payment of vendor invoices for all related recruitment expenses and maintains recordsAssists and coordinates all activities related to the full life cycle of a lateral candidate, including creating job requisitions and postings, reviewing candidate materials, maintaining candidate files in the applicant tracking system, coordinating interview schedules, compiling candidate feedback, and assisting in preparing standard offer lettersCommunicate with associates, shareholder candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless candidate experienceCoordinates with Talent Acquisition staff and other administrative departments (e.g., Human Resources, Conflicts) to complete various recruitment-related checks (background, conflicts, references, bar status, etc.) and new hire-related paperwork as well as other employment-related processesCommunicates directly with candidates and search firms regarding candidate statusManage relationships with search firms and assist with the administrative process of executing agreements with new agency relationsMaintains applicant database and department records and generates reportsAssists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsSkills & CompetenciesHigh attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation; ability to interact effectively with candidates, all levels of firm personnel, and a variety of external clientsProvide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services, and meet or exceed client expectations; proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help othersPossess superior judgment and discretion; recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information, and maintain confidentialityAnalytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skillsEducation & Prior ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred.Five to eight years of related attorney recruiting and summer associate hiring and summer program planning experience, preferably with a large law firmWorking knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systemsFamiliarity with AI platforms and integrating into the recruiting process and experienceTechnologyProficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookExceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quicklyGT is an EEO employer with an inclusive workplace committed to merit-based consideration and review without regard to an individual's race, sex, or other protected characteristics and to the principles of non-discrimination on any protected basis.
