Come grow with KMC Stampings!SUMMARY OF POSITION:Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Brake Press Setup/Operator sets-up and operates brake presses and punch presses to form and bend a variety of materials. Responsible for part quality and efficiency. Set-up, adjust, and operate brake press and punch press to form, bend and punch a variety of work Set-up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radiiWork from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templatesUse scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gaugesSorting and packaging partsVerify quantity & quality of materialMoves raw material to and from production areas as necessaryOperates overhead crane while moving productResponsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conductOther duties as assigned or requiredQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
