Job DescriptionA Sr. Manager, Program Management, is responsible for the owning the execution of their assigned strategic projects or programs. Emphasis is on delivering to key KPI's, with a focus on team leadership and customer-centric solutions. This position will serve our Water Heating Division and can be located in either Roswell, GA or Atlanta, GA. ResponsibilitiesForm and lead project teams to achieve successful execution from both a customer and business viewpoint.Monitor and reported program performance, metrics, issues and potential solutions. Present detailed program summaries to senior-level management and conduct post-implementation analysis to determine areas of program improvement.Work with cross-functional team to meet program objectives (KPI's)Perform resource-leveling to expedite project deliverablesLeverage negotiations and communication skills to lead project teams Oversee the product life cycle and manages the development, profitability, and market share growth of assigned product portfolio to meet/exceed KPIs. Lead value stream and/or core team for their respective product categories to ensure effective product strategy roadmap execution and expected performance. Partner with product management to ensure project schedules are created, updated, maintained, and followed.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, finance and purchasing to drive cost reduction activities or trade off analysis, within the launch schedule.Planning ,organizing, scheduling, leading, communicating and controlling plant project activities with functional departments managers to achieve a pre-defined outcome on time, within budget and at agreed upon level of quality.Plan and implement programs following Navigator guidelines to manufacturing acceptance and full production.Lead internal communication to ensure all project related deliverables and expectations are met.Track program related progress for capital & tooling.Ensure the alignment of the manufacturing organization with the company vision, purpose and priorities including validation of new equipmentWork with functional managers to communicate and prioritize resource requirements and expectations.Collaborate cross functionally for speed-to-market and quality improvements.Mentor and develop team members to foster excellence.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or related field.10+ years of experience in product development or project management2+ years of experience leading business or functional teams.Strong knowledge of product development stage gate processes including design, pricing, manufacturing, and sourcing.Strong project planning and management skills, ability to develop and manage multiple timelines and deadlines.Experience with project management, PLM and resource management tools.Strong analytical and financial acumen.Experience with navigating matrixed teams and able to work effectively cross functionally with department leaders to develop, influence and execute on project initiatives and goals. Excellent communication and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong professional presence and ability to build relationships and influence at multiple levels of the organization.
