Akkodis is seeking an Sr. Analog Electrical Engineer for a Contract to Hire with a client in Everett, WA. The ideal candidate will routinely troubleshoot measurement circuits, high-current paths, and thermal issues to accelerate design refinement and validation. Rate Range: $90/hour to $100/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr. Analog Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include: Support first-article PCA bring-up by debugging precision analog circuits, high-current paths, H-Bridge drivers, and power subsystems.Analyze, troubleshoot, and refine low-noise op-amp stages, instrumentation amplifiers, and ADC front-end circuits (DC-1 MHz).Contribute to the design, testing, and characterization of >20A current sources and assist in resolving switching, thermal, and transient behaviors.Review and support heavy-copper PCB layouts while collaborating with mechanical/thermal teams on heat-sinking, airflow, and component thermal performance.Perform SPICE-based simulations, document debug findings, and provide clear recommendations for schematic and layout updates.Assist in driving the hardware toward a production-ready revision through electrical validation, iterative design updates, and final release preparation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.10+ years of experience in precision analog hardware design, power electronics, or measurement systems (flexible for exceptional candidates).Strong expertise in precision analog design (DC-1 MHz), high-current (>20A) circuits, and hands-on hardware debug using advanced test equipment.Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium, Cadence, Allegro) and SPICE-based simulation (LTSpice, QSPICE).If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
