Discipleship Ministries Nashville, Tennessee 37203 Full Time , Remote Director, Church Planting Resource Development, (Exempt), Reports to Executive Director, Community Engagement and Church Planting/Path 1 - World Service The Director, Church Planting Resource Development, is to lead the development and distribution of practical, field-ready resources, high-quality content, optimizing online engagement, and generating revenue to foster new faith communities and Christian discipleship. Will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Path1 Church Planting Hub, including overseeing the production of practical, replicable tools such as templates, playbooks, checklists, and starter kits, as well as impact stories that highlight effective ministry practices. Ensure all resources demonstrate theological integrity, clarity, usability, and alignment with United Methodist mission and polity, while maintaining consistent quality standards. Collaborate with Annual Conferences, ministry leaders, and diverse contributors to identify emerging resource needs and promote contextual adoption of Path 1 materials. Recruit, coach, and support clergy and lay contributors representing varied ministry settings and cultural contexts. Collaborate with the Discipleship Ministries' Marketing and Delivery team staff to ensure effective digital distribution and brand alignment, including developing communication kits and support materials to assist conferences in sharing and embedding church planting resources. Education / Experience * Master of Divinity or related theological degree * Three to four years of related experience; proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines, experience in developing resources. Compensation and Benefits * Salary range is $76,000 - $83,000 based on experience Benefits include health insurance (medical, prescription, dental, vision), life insurance and other supplementals, short term and long-term disability.
