Meet with prospective residents and their families to provide information about our services and amenities. Conduct tours of the facility and explain the admission procedures. Obtain necessary paperwork and documentation for admission. Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to assess resident needs and ensure appropriate placement. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff throughout the admissions process. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to admissions. Qualifications of an Admissions Director: Previous experience in admissions or healthcare administration, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing home admissions.
