PorterReports to: Shop supervisorDepartment: Midland BranchClassification: Non-ExemptDivision: MidlandJOB SUMMARY:Complete task assigned by the shop managerArranging products on the display shelvesShop organization Detail fusion equipmentPerform housekeeping duties Operate basic hand tools and power hand toolsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Wash work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, or products.Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.Clean and lubricate equipment.Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Able to perform physically demanding workCommunication and organization skillsMonitors and maintain cleanliness and organization on serviced areasKeep track of equipment ensuring it's on proper location Ensure compliance with safety practicesIdentify unsafe equipment and report any issues with shop supervisor Painting equipment when old parts has become faded or chippedJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Must provide valid driver licenseMus be able to lift over 30 poundsBend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crawl occasionally during visits to field and operational work areas.Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all designated timeWORK ENVIRONMENT:May at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection.Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned by HS&E Manager.Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:May at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection.Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned by HS&E Manager.Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather.This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
