Job Title: Director, Regional Operations ManagementReports To: Senior Vice President, OperationsJob SummaryThe Director, Regional Operations Management is responsible for supporting the Senior Vice President of Operations through direct oversight of Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) and by assisting with the day-to-day operational management of assigned regions and initiatives. This role focuses on execution, consistency, and performance management in support of company-level operational and financial objectives established by the Senior Vice President of Operations.The Director, Regional Operations Management works closely with the Director of Operations to support the successful onboarding, integration, and stabilization of newly acquired practices and de novo start-up locations. During the initial phase of integration, this role provides hands-on operational and financial oversight before coordinating with the Senior Vice President of Operations to transition ongoing responsibility to an assigned Regional Operations Manager.This position serves as a key operational resource for Regional Operations Managers, Practice Managers, physicians, and corporate partners, helping to ensure consistent application of standards, effective problem-solving, and timely escalation of issues to executive leadership as appropriate.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:Support of Senior Vice President of Operations Supports the Senior Vice President of Operations in achieving company-level operational and financial objectives through management of assigned day-to-day operational activities. Assists with monitoring regional performance and identifying operational risks or opportunities requiring leadership attention. Prepares operational analyses, summaries, and recommendations for review by the Senior Vice President of Operations. Escalates significant operational, financial, or personnel concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.Regional Operations Manager Oversight Provides direct oversight, guidance, and support to Regional Operations Managers to ensure consistent execution of operational standards and expectations. Conducts regular check-ins and performance discussions with ROMs focused on operational execution, financial results, and issue resolution. Supports ROMs in addressing underperformance, operational challenges, and market-specific concerns.Operational and Financial Performance Support Assists with monitoring practice and regional performance, including budgets, P&L results, overhead, productivity, and key operating metrics. Partners with ROMs and Practice Managers to identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost management. Supports the implementation of corporate benchmarks, best practices, and performance improvement initiatives.Practice Integration and Start-Up Support Works collaboratively with the Director of Operations to support onboarding, integration, and early operational stabilization of newly acquired and de novo practices. Provides short-term operational and financial oversight during the initial integration phase, ensuring alignment with corporate standards. Coordinates with the Senior Vice President of Operations to transition stabilized practices to assigned Regional Operations Managers.Other Responsibilities Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice. Maintains detailed knowledge of computer software as it relates to job functions. Completes all assigned AP training (such as CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, Information Security, others) within designated timeframes. Complies with Allergy Partners and respective hub/department policies and reports incidents of policy violations to a Supervisor/Manager/Director, Department of Compliance & Privacy or via the AP EthicsPoint hotline. Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures, actively participate in enforcement of all ongoing Cybersecurity efforts to ensure safe and secure IT systems for all employees and clients at Allergy Partners. Remain vigilant and aware of new threats and assist the company by fulfilling an active role in observing, enforcement and reporting of cybersecurity incidents, efforts, programs and fulfill required training on a timely basis as required by frequency and due dates. Attends all regular meetings. Performs other operational and administrative duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President of Operations in support of organizational needs and priorities.Qualifications & Experience Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of healthcare operations experience, preferably in a multi-site or regional practice environment. Prior experience supporting or leading Regional Operations Managers, Practice Managers, or similar operational leadership roles. Working knowledge of medical practice operations, including financial performance, staffing models, patient access, and workflow optimization. Demonstrated ability to analyze operational and financial data and assist in the development of improvement plans. Experience supporting acquisitions, practice integrations, or de novo clinic start-ups strongly preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with physicians, operational leaders, and corporate partners. Ability to manage multiple priorities and support operational execution in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with practice management systems, EHR platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel, as business needs require.Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related discipline required. Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred. Extensive multi-site healthcare operations experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has direct supervisory responsibility for Regional Operations Managers. Regional Operations Managers report directly to the Director, Regional Operations Management.Physical DemandsThis position generally involves extended periods of sitting, standing, and travel. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to observe and interpret information. Must be able to use a computer, keyboard, and telephone regularly. Occasional lifting of materials or files weighing up to 20 pounds may be necessary.Working ConditionsNormal office environment with regular travel to medical practice sites. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Overnight travel up to approximately 50% may be necessary.
