Media/Print Services Technician

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Workplace Service Technician and provide expertise and operational support across multiple functions, including Digital Printing, Reprographics and Graphics Production, for the Mail and Media Services organization. The customer base for the services provided through this position is system-wide and includes the populations stationed at Portland Headquarters, Vancouver campuses and field offices. This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Portland, OR with on site 4-5 days per week. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.93) is $28.36 and $35.93 depending on qualifications. The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is required.2 years of Media Service functions with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.2 years of printing and binding standards and editing protocol.Knowledge of production environment editing and pre-press software and pre-production management systems.Knowledge of production environment setup, calibration, operation and maintenance of conversion, finishing and binding equipment.5 years of demonstrated Print Shop - Media Services experience required.Preferred Skills:An understanding of the setup, calibration, operation and maintenance of digital printing and reprographics equipment. Current equipment set:Large format printersLarge format plotter scannersHigh speed B&W duplicator with conversion and finishing capabilitiesAssist in Mail Services or Central Records as neededGraphics production and variable data knowledge.Experience with digital printing and reprographics equipment and pre-press management toolsDemonstrate a working knowledge of USPS-related postal management and verification systems and software.
