Real Estate Transactional Partner / CounselPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Real Estate Transactional Partner / Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, specializing in various aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, and landlord representation. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients throughout the real estate transaction process.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal guidance on real estate transactions including purchase and sale agreements (PSA), leasing agreements, and financing documents.Negotiate and draft contracts and agreements related to real estate transactions.Represent clients in negotiations and discussions with other parties involved in real estate deals.Conduct due diligence on potential real estate acquisitions and transactions.Advise clients on compliance with real estate laws and regulations, including tax implications and landlord-tenant issues.Assist clients in structuring real estate deals to minimize liability and maximize investment opportunities.Stay updated on changes in real estate law and market trends to provide clients with informed advice.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Barred in CA7+ years of experience in real estate law, focusing on transactional matters.Strong understanding of purchase and sale agreements, leasing, tax issues, and real estate finance.Proven track record in real estate acquisitions and landlord representation.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.Nice to have:portable book of business
