Sales EngineerPosition Overview The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving sales and providing technical expertise for HVAC and Building Automation Systems. This position requires a blend of engineering knowledge and sales acumen to effectively meet customer needs and deliver solutions that align with their business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their HVAC and building automation needs.Provide technical support and expertise to clients on HVAC systems, controls, and building automation solutions.Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and sales contracts while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and requirements.Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.Provide training and support to customers post-installation to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.Proven experience in sales engineering, particularly in HVAC and building automation systems.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and building automation technologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.Ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions.Experience with Delta controls and BAS is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
