AppleOne is seeking a high-caliber General Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial construction projects in the Tampa area. This is a leadership-heavy role designed for an /"ambassador/" of the industry someone who doesn't just manage a site, but maximizes a team's potential to deliver safe, high-quality, and community-defining developments.As an extension of the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence of multiple projects simultaneously.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesRisk & Financial Management: Identify construction risks early and implement effective remedies for cost overruns or schedule slippages.Operational Excellence: Ensure project schedules are built and executed per company policy, aiming to stay on or ahead of schedule.Safety Leadership: Implement and interpret comprehensive safety programs across all assigned projects.Pre-Construction Support: Assist with bid schedules, General Conditions estimates, and the PreCon/Estimating phase.Reporting & Communication: Provide clear direction to project teams and ensure all status reporting is completed accurately and on time.Stakeholder Engagement: Lead subcontractor meetings and represent the brand in client and community interactions.Minimum QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 15 years in the construction industry, with at least 10+ years specifically in commercial construction.Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent field experience may be substituted on a 1:1 basis).Versatility: Diverse experience across multiple verticals is highly preferred.
