Job Description

CardinaleWay Mazda Corona is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers and technicians in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts while delivering outstanding service and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities Assist retail customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering automotive parts Provide accurate price quotes and availability information Process sales transactions and handle payments Use parts lookup systems and catalogs to source parts efficiently Maintain organized inventory and stock levels Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments Process returns, warranties, and core credits Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely repairs Maintain a clean and professional parts counter area Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior automotive parts experience preferred (dealership or aftermarket) Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts terminology Experience using parts management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license Preferred Skills ASE Parts Specialist Certification (P2) Bilingual Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket parts sourcing Sales experience and upselling ability Why Join Us?
