Position Summary: The College of Nursing (CON) seeks qualified Nursing Adjuncts to support the teaching mission of the college by providing high-quality instruction in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical settings. Adjuncts are part-time instructional professionals who bring current clinical expertise to the learning environment and support the preparation of future nurses through teaching, mentoring, and evaluation of students. Adjuncts will contribute to the college's caring-based educational philosophy by fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. Responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate nursing courses, supervising clinical practice experiences, evaluating student performance, maintaining course materials in the learning management system, and collaborating with course coordinators and program leadership to ensure course objectives and accreditation standards are met. Adjuncts support this mission by bringing real-world clinical practice into the academic setting and helping students integrate theory with professional nursing practice. Minimum Qualifications: o Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, five years of experience in nursing, and certification in clinical area of teaching; or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution o Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license o Minimum of two years of professional nursing practice experience in the specialty area relevant to the teaching assignment Salary: Commensurate with Experience College or Department: Christine E.
