The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees Impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort. Hourly Rate: $15.45 Position Overview: This is a seasonal role. A Food Runner's overall job is to work closely with the culinary staff and front of the house to ensure accuracy and quality before the guests receive their order. The Food Runner is responsible primarily for assisting the Server in serving the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact. Job Functions & Responsibilities: Ensures the efficient flow of orders from the wait staff to the kitchen. Ensures orders are being prepared with the correct priority and alerts management to quality issues or long wait times. Assists in the final plate presentation (e.g. adding condiments and/or toppings). Checks dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature. Delivers orders quickly to customers to maintain fast service. Communicates important information to the kitchen and the Elevations staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request). Eliminates obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing. Inspects the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assists in cleaning. Handles complaints from customers to preserve the restaurant's reputation of providing excellent customer service. Performs other related duties as assigned.
