ARC is dedicated to unifying the region's collective resources to prepare the metropolitan area for a prosperous future. This is done through professional planning initiatives, the provision of objective information and the involvement of the community in collaborative partnerships.Georgia Commute Options (GCO) is the regional Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program that provides employer consulting, ride matching services, and incentive programs to help commuters, employers, and schools with solutions for a better commute. GCO encourages behavior change in the region's commuters from single occupant vehicles to carpool, vanpool, transit, bike, walk, and/or telework.The Outreach Program Assistant will work to support GCO and TDM projects related to commuting, including e-mobility, sustainable and resilient transportation options, and research and reporting. The Outreach Program Assistant will support the development of GCO commute promotions such as Try Transit and Biketober. The Program Assistant will also support implementation of the Atlanta E-Bike Rebate Program, a partnership between ARC, the City of Atlanta, and Propel ATL designed to provide affordable transportation options for City of Atlanta residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborates with Mobility Services Department (MSD) outreach, marketing, evaluation, and technology teams to support the implementation of GCO programs and services, with a particular focus on commuter-facing programs and initiativesSupport the implementation of the Atlanta E-Bike Rebate Program, and other GCO programs and services, including commuter-facing programs and initiatives, marketing efforts, research and data analysis, outreach, tracking and monitoring progress, and collaborating with partners and contractors.Compile, organize and track rebate applicant data and information; review and verify applications for compliance; prepare and distribute standard reports, notices, requests, documents and/or correspondence; monitor completion, authorization and timely return of applicable documents and formsIdentify opportunities to increase levels of participation through process improvements, create program summaries, and make recommendations for future enhancements.Performs other duties as assigned to support agency goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications:Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, public administration, urban or regional planning, urban studies, or related field. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, public administration, urban or regional planning, urban studies, or related field.
