As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. Role Summary:The Utility Steward will be responsible for completing special cleaning projects as assigned, following hotel specifications and standards. Includes cleaning and maintaining equipment and dishwashing/kitchen/cafeteria/compactor/storage areas, while assisting in other stewarding functions as assigned. We have a full-time position available. This role is a P.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights.Work Schedule: 5:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M.Essential Qualifications:Ability to satisfactorily communicate in job-related English.Ability to count. Desirable:High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.Previous experience in janitorial/cleaning position.Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations.Certification in sanitation.Knowledge of proper chemical handling.Ability to communicate in a foreign language - Creole or Spanish.Essential Skills:Ability to perform duties with attention to details, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and cooperativeness.Ability to follow directions.Ability to adapt to meet priority changes of workflow or requirements.Ability to operate designated machinery.Ability to remain extremely alert while operating machinery.Ability to exert physical effort in transporting equipment and wares.Ability to withstand high temperatures, moisture, and noise levels in work areas.Ability to endure abundant physical movements in cleaning various work areas.Apply today and be part of something extraordinary!Start your journey with Eau Resort & Spa and help us continue to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
