Inside Sales / Application Engineer - Industrial Air SystemsCompany: Hoffman & Hoffman Reports to: Segment Manager FLSA Status: ExemptPosition Purpose:The Inside Sales / Application Engineer provides technical sales support to the Hoffman & Hoffman sales team by assisting with equipment selection, application guidance, and quotation development for industrial air movement systems, including large centrifugal fans and ventilation equipment. This is a primarily office-based / remote role focused on supporting outside sales engineers, representatives, and customers. This position does not carry direct sales or closing responsibility but plays a critical role in helping the team win projects through accurate, timely, and well-developed technical solutions.Duties and Responsibilities:Support sales team with project evaluation, equipment selection, and quotationsReview plans/specifications and determine system requirementsPerform fan selections based on airflow and static pressureDevelop quotations, proposals, and submittalsMaintain project documentation and revision trackingCoordinate with manufacturers on technical solutionsReview orders and acknowledgments for accuracyProvide order status updates and customer communicationSupport contractors and reps with technical guidanceManage multiple projects with accuracy and responsivenessPosition Requirements:Engineering degree or 2-5 years relevant experienceKnowledge of industrial ventilation or centrifugal fans preferredAbility to read drawings and technical documentsStrong Microsoft Office skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyWork Environment:Primarily remote / office-based role with limited travel for training or site visits.This job description is intended to provide information regarding the essential functions and basic duties of this position.
