If you've ever worn a favorite college hoodie or souvenir hat, there's a good chance we had a hand in creating it.Quality Assurance Associate1st Shift As a QA Associate, you play an important role in the success of L2's production operations. Primary responsibilities of this position include visually inspecting headwear to ensure each piece meets quality standards. Reports directly to the QA Lead / QA Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities: Follows the direction of the quality assurance lead and/or quality assurance supervisorReference the print placement guide for correct print placementCheck that print has correct placement on garmentCatches and neatly stack garments as they come out of the textile dryer while keeping pace with the screen print machineSeparates all shirts that need to be cleaned, touched up and mill rejects. Helps ensure accuracy of order as per approved order information, Tech Sheet, garment color and styleResponsible for immediately notifying the machine operator and/or quality assurance lead when detecting errors in a production run. Fill out the "Daily Production Log"Assists with the finishing process of production orders; second dry, applying proper stickers and foldingCommunicates effectively with the machine operator to maintain a good workflow from order to orderMay be asked to touch up or spot clean garments as neededCommitment to company values Essential Functions: Quality Control- Monitors own work to ensure quality. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Applies feedback to improve performance. Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness. Safety & Security- Always follows current safety and security procedures. Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines. Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly. Qualifications- To qualify for this position, one must have the ability to read, write, apply common sense and comprehend simple instructions furnished in a written, oral or diagram form. Ability to recognize similarities and differences, between words and between series of numbers. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one or with small groups of employees. Must be self-motivated and be able to prioritize. Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide and work with percentages.
