Job Description

This role is a 6-month position, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.Work location: Hybrid or Remote; California residents only. This position requires residence and work to be performed within California due to regulatory and payroll requirements.The Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional projects that support the mission, strategic priorities, and operational effectiveness of Camino Health Center. This role partners closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure initiatives are planned, executed, and completed successfully, aligned to established scope, timeline, and cost requirements. The Project Manager plays a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting health center growth, and advancing strategic initiatives for the health center.Essential Values-Based Competencies:Demonstrates values-based competencies in line with the four core values that are the foundation of all activities performed by employees in order to achieve the mission of the health center.Dignity: Demonstrates competence in communication and interpersonalrelations Excellence: Demonstrates competence in continuous improvement, continuous learning, and teamwork/collaboration Service: Demonstrates competence in customer/patient focus, adaptability, and shaping change Justice: Demonstrates competence in community orientation, stewardship, and strategic planning and action Essential Functions: Project Leadership & DeliveryLead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of multiple concurrent projectsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource needsManage project risks and issues; proactively escalate concerns when neededEnsures project plans and deliverables are aligned with clinical and operational workflows, including EHR processes, care team roles, and patient access procedures.Stakeholder Management & CommunicationServe as the primary project lead and point of contact for internal stakeholdersFacilitate collaboration among internal departments and external partners, as neededLead project meetings, prepare agendas, and communicate decisions and next stepsProvide regular status updates and executive summaries to leadershipData & ReportingTrack metrics and project outcomes as needed to evaluate effectiveness and impactPrepare reports and presentations for leadership and/or relevant external partiesTools & Best PracticesEstablish and maintain project documentation, templates, and best practicesContribute to the maturation of project management processes and discipline across the organizationMinimum Position Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, or a related fieldExperience / Training: 2 years project management experience; Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities; Experience presenting to leadership audiencesPreferred Position Qualifications:Education: Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, or a related fieldExperience / Training: Experience in healthcare, community health, or nonprofit settings; Experience with Microsoft Planner or similar project management toolsLicense / Certification: Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, or similar)
