These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of preventative and reactive maintenance for manufacturing equipment, plant infrastructure, and utilities.Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, controlling operational costs and capital expenditures.Ensure facility compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building code regulations.Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors for services such as cleaning, security, waste management, and specialized repairs.Lead and manage facilities-related projects, including renovations, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrades.Implement and maintain robust safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans for the manufacturing site.Optimize utility consumption and manage energy efficiency initiatives across the facility.Recommended QualificationsExtensive experience managing facilities operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and industrial machinery maintenance.Proven track record in project management, budget administration, and vendor contract negotiation.Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and environmental compliance pertinent to manufacturing.Experience implementing and managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and preventative maintenance programs.Bonus QualificationsExperience with lean manufacturing principles applied to facility operations and maintenance.LEED AP or other sustainability/energy management certification.Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for facility layout and space planning.Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) implementation or optimization in a manufacturing setting.Job Titles That Should ApplyFacilities Manager, Building Manager, Property Manager, Facilities Director, Facilities Coordinator, Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, Facilities Operations Manager, Site Facilities Manager, Corporate Facilities ManagerWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
