Worker's Compensation Defense Attorney

Salary : $200000 - $220000Overview of the Company: Our client is an established and growing California workers' compensation defense law firm with 12 offices across California. Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents Attend hearings and depositions Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Effectively manage tie and follow Firm procedures Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders both internal and external Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues Job Requirements:Required Skills and Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Active membership in the California State Bar Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and working on a computerMust have the dexterity to use a keyboard and other office equipmentMust be able to observe details, read printed materials and computer screensMust be able to communicate verbally in person and over the phoneMust be able to move around in an office setting and operate office equipmentMust be able to lift up, carry, and push up to 15 pounds at timesLocation: Remote Optional, or In-office: Agoura Hills, Central Coast, East Bay, Encino, Inland Empire, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego Compensation & Benefits: Salary 200-220k Bonus Eligiblepackage: multiple bonus opportunities, and generous benefits including medical, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance benefits, as well as a 401k. #IND2 #LI-DT1 Contact Details: Daria Teller 516-319-1050
