Arena - nothing is short of memorable.Porter Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Sweep, scrub, mop floorsDust furniture and fittingsEmpty and clean trash containersDispose of trash in a sanitary mannerClean and stock restroomsWipe down glass surfacesWash windows as scheduledOperate mechanized cleaning equipmentMaintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working conditionMonitor and report necessary repairs and replacementsOther duties as assignedPorter QualificationsCourteous and pleasant to all guestsAbility to work as a team with fellow porters and other staffEnglish speaking skills are beneficial, but not requiredAbility to follow direction from supervisors/managersExperience working in the porter or janitorial field is a plus, but not requiredPrevious job references are requiredAvailability to work nights, weekend and/or holidays may be requiredThe Porter position requires the ability to perform the following:Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 40 poundsFrequently standing up and moving about the facilityFrequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facilityFrequently bending, standing, stooping, and kneeling Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
