CE&I Transportation Construction Inspector

CivilCorp, LLC (an ESP Company) is currently recruiting for a CE&I Inspector for highway and bridge projects in the San Antonio area market.Responsibilities:Act as the CE&I Transportation Construction Inspector on TXDOT and County transportation construction projects performing inspection services for asphalt, concrete, erosion control, traffic control, earthwork, and other construction materials and processes as influenced by the projectComplete daily reports of Earthwork Construction logbook, activity logs, progress updates, and any other necessary documentation as per management or client Ensure project organization and coordination with other field personnel Assist with the preparation of the Final Estimate packageObserve work in progress to ensure that procedures are followed per plans and specificationsObtain, prepare, record and review all materials used for the project to ensure correspondence with specifications Measure and verify the precision of dimensions, installations, and construction activity Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent required5+ years of experience in TxDOT roadway construction inspectionPrevious experience in the inspection of transportation projects and certifications from TXDOT are preferred.Basic computer skills are requiredProficient in SiteManager softwareMust be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends as neededCandidates will be required to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.Corporate Information:CivilCorp specializes in transportation, infrastructure, and site development engineering, as well as a full range of land surveying services including boundary, topographic, right of way, and control.
