Job DescriptionPrimary purpose:The Document Analyst for Management of Change (MOC) Process is responsible for auditing MOC Request and New MOC's, building and maintaining reporting tools, ensuring the appropriate parties are assigned to the MOC's, maintaining matrix for assignments of MOC's, assisting user on a day-to-day basis, assist with training, testing changes, and responding to JIRA tickets.ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilitiesParticipate in the development, improvement, and implementation of MOC processes and procedures. Audit all new MOCs to ensure completeness and accuracy. Ensure proper personnel are notified on the MOC. Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the MOC process. Maintain the notification matrix, similar to the DCM for procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all MOC activities. Communicate changes and their impacts to relevant stakeholders. Audit all new MOCs to ensure proper departments are assigned as reviewers and approvers. Ensure appropriate tasks are assigned. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to MOC. Conduct regular audits of the MOC process to identify areas for improvement. Audit all MOCs prior to closing for compliance with company policies, ensuring all documentation is completed and attached. Identify opportunities for improving the MOC process. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous changes. Collaborate with a variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.Other daily, weekly, monthly, or special projects may be assigned.QualificationsMinimum requirements:Education:High School diploma or equivalentExperience/Specific Knowledge:A minimum of 3 years of experience with Operations and/or Engineering specific to oil and gas pipelines, and/or facilities Well versed in DOT code 192 (gas) and 195 (oil)Working knowledge of process safety information and data used to safely maintain facility and pipeline operations.Basic understanding of work management systems and mechanical integrity concepts and modifications requiring risk assessment.Basic understanding of various risk management tools (such as PHAs), processes, terminology, and when they are applied.Overall understanding of record retention requirements, laws and regulations.Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, PowerBI, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).Competencies, Skills & Abilities:Ability to learn and understand project and facility documentation requirements.Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to require work schedules, and follow company policies.Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines and prioritize work.Physical Demands:All the physical requirements listed below are those that may be necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
