About the job Corporate Paralegal This is not your typical Paralegal/Legal Assistant role and this is not your typical office.Our client, a highly discreet private family wealth management office of ~20 professionals in Northbrook, IL, managing significant assets and a wide range of investments for this confidential family. You'll partner closely with the GC, who brings nearly 20 years of experience from Big Law and private office settings. Expect high-level exposure to complex legal and investment matters without the pressure of billable hours. This role is best suited for someone who loves to collaborate and continue to learn. All of the skills are not required, but a great attitude and aptitude are! Why this position?No billable hours. No late nights. True 9-to-5 scheduleHybrid work: in-office Tues-Thurs in Northbrook (flexible hours with traffic)Exposure to sophisticated legal and investment work as the right hand to the GCCollegial, discreet culture with amazing team tenureStability and long-term opportunity in a multi-generational officeKey Responsibilities:Draft, review, and manage templated legal documents (NDAs, loan docs, governance materials, etc.)Support entity formations, qualifications, dissolutions, and maintain corporate recordsAssist with private investment transactions and preclearanceMaintain cap tables and ownership schedules for partnerships and LLCsWhat you Bring:3-5+ years of paralegal experience (corporate, investment, or private office)Highest level of discretion and professionalismCalm, proactive mindset with ownership over your workWe'd love to discuss this with you if you're a self-starter with strong organizational skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretionFull-time employees receive 401(k) match, vacation, holiday pay, and a discretionary bonus.
