BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A variety of instructional fitness and aerobics classes of varying intensities are offered throughout the county such as: dance aerobics, step aerobics, circuit weight training, aquatic Zumba, kick boxing and toningDUTIES:  * To teach, aquatic water aerobics or fitness class consisting of various age groups and abilities.   * Must demonstrate proper workout techniques and safety procedures, oversee use of facilities and keep records of class attendance.   * Must select own music and exercises to use in class.    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:  * Sufficient skill in a specific area, ability to develop a teaching plan for a diversified group of people, ability to demonstrate effective aerobic exercise skills and to communicate directions effectively.   * Fitness Certification required and Aquatics Fitness certification required for all water fitness programs. EXPERIENCE:  At least two (2) years teaching and/or participating in/experience with specific program area.     EDUCATION:   * Possess a nationally recognized certification or state license pertaining to the specific activity.         * Possess basic First Aid and CPR certification.   * Community first aid certification preferred but not required.    RATE OF PAY:       Salary commensurate with experience and certification. Contingent - Professional $16.00 - $38.00 per hour
