With tremendous growth opportunities, great benefits, and flexible work schedules, it is no wonder why we are consistently recognized as a Great Place To Work.Position Summary The Revenue Integrity Analyst is responsible for maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship with their assigned departments, ensuring they are following the charge reconciliation processes and are meeting their key performance indicator metrics.Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include the Following:Ensuring charges are built correctly in the CDM and are appropriately integrated with the clinical charging mechanismsExpert on charge capture tools. Auditing and giving feedback as appropriateOversight of Department charges and KPIs, ensuring they are at or above budget and determining root cause if they are notTraining departments on charge capture tools, rules, regs, CPT/HCPCS/etc. updates and workflowsMonitor, investigate and resolve revenue integrity concerns and violations reported in their area and provide any necessary follow-ups Serve as a resource for organizational and operational revenue integrity issuesCommunicate on CDM maintenance activities.Work Revenue Integrity WQs, monitor department WQs. Provide feedback based on WQ volumes, audit outcomes and daily charge statisticsValidate/test/audit charge triggers to ensure systems are working as expectedKeep abreast of healthcare industry trendsUnderstands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and BehaviorsPerforms all other related duties as assignedEducation & Experience Requirements:5+ years' experience in a hospital business setting, including full-scope revenue cycle and charging Ability to manage multiple concurrent activitiesWorking knowledge of healthcare coding and billing rules and regulationsHigh school/GED requiredSome college preferredCore Competencies:Effective communication skills and ability to interact with others positivelyStrong analytical and organizational skillsComputer skills are essential. Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, etc..) and healthcare software (ex: Epic, Meditech, etc...) at a minimumPhysical/Mental Demands/Requirements & Work Environment:May be exposed to chemicals necessary to perform required tasks. Any hazardous chemicals the employee may be exposed to are listed in the hospital's SDS (Safety Data Sheet) database and may be accessed through the hospital's Intranet site (Employee Tools/SDS Access). A copy of the SDS database can also be found at the hospital switchboard, saved on a disc. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets.
