Job Title: Groundskeeper Reports To: Grounds SupervisorStatus: Non-Exempt, hourlyJob Type: Full-Time, 40hrs./weekPrimary Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain lawn, gardens, trees and other plants through the use of hand tools and powered equipment.Maintain walkways, roads and parking lots through the use of hand tools and powered equipment.Remove snow and ice and keep walkways, roads and parking lots safe for pedestrians and drivers.Assist other departments as needed.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsPrevious experience using lawn, garden and snow removal equipment preferredAbility to follow oral and written instructionsPossess valid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to work alone with minimal direct supervisionExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsOther dutiesPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
