About the job Gen AI Architect (AVP) Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Generative AIWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) to lead and drive innovation in the field of Generative AI. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development, deployment, and scaling of cutting-edge generative AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with data science, technology, and business teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and deliver impactful results. This is a high-impact role with the potential to shape the future of our AI initiatives.Location: Candidate can be based in Phoenix, AZ area. This is a hybrid role.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee large-scale Generative AI projects from conception to deploymentDevelop and implement AI strategies aligned with business objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, data science, and business unitsDesign and architect scalable Generative AI solutionsMentor and guide teams in best practices for AI development and deploymentEnsure adherence to software engineering principles and Agile methodologiesStay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in Generative AITechnical Skills:Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and related NLP librariesExperience of developing NLP application leveraging LLMs like GPT, Llama, Mistral etc.AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience with embedders, vector DBs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and other Gen AI toolsDeep understanding of AI architecture patterns and best practicesStrong software engineering skills for rapid and scalable development of AI systemsAdvanced AI Concepts: Familiarity with graph RAG, Agentic RAG, and other emerging technologiesModel Development: Experience in fine-tuning large language modelsCloud Platforms: Strong working knowledge of at least one major cloud service (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Nvidia)LLMOps: Expertise in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines for AI projectsLeadership & Communication:Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse, global teamsExcellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex AI concepts to various stakeholdersStrong project management skills and experience working in Agile environmentsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferredMinimum 10 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 5 years in leadership rolesDemonstrated success in deploying large-scale AI projectsExperience working with global teams across multiple geographic locations is a plusAdditional Considerations:We're looking for a leader who can bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical business applications, driving innovation while ensuring robust, scalable, and ethical AI implementations.
