About the job Salesforce Vlocity Order Management Developer Job briefWe are seeking a Salesforce Vlocity Order Management Developer with hands-on experience in Vlocity Communications Cloud to implement and support complex order capture, decomposition, and orchestration processes. This role focuses on Salesforce Industries Order Management (OM) capabilities and requires strong knowledge of the Communications Cloud data model and OmniStudio framework.ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and implement order management capabilities using Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) toolsDevelop and support order capture flows using OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards)Implement product-based order decomposition, orchestration flows, and fulfillment logic using the Industries OM data modelCollaborate with product modelers, solution architects, and system integrators to ensure seamless order lifecycle from quote to fulfillmentBuild and manage integration points with external fulfillment systems (e.g. OSS/BSS, inventory, billing platforms)Support order fallout handling, exception management, and workflow retriesConduct unit testing, participate in system and UAT testing cycles, and resolve defectsDocument technical solutions, configuration logic, and integration mappingsStay up to date with Salesforce Industries releases, best practices, and evolving OM featuresRequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field3+ years of Salesforce platform experience, with at least 5 years in Salesforce Industries Order ManagementStrong hands-on experience with Communications Cloud and the Vlocity Industry Process LibraryProficiency with OmniStudio tools: OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCardsExperience in configuring and supporting order decomposition, orchestration plans, and product relationshipsKnowledge of fulfillment systems and integration best practices using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware (e.g. MuleSoft)Solid understanding of CPQ to Order flow, including product modeling and order captureFamiliarity with Salesforce DX, version control, and deployment tools is a plusSalesforce Industries and OmniStudio certifications are highly desirableStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional agile teams
