About the job CNC Equipment Specialist Job Title: CNC MachinistLocation: Solon, OhioExperience Required: 2 - 15 yearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & Setup: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and/or Grinders to meet production requirements. Perform first-piece runs to ensure outputs meet exact specifications. Program and operate CNC machines for tasks like drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.Quality Assurance: Maintain tight tolerances and inspect work at all stages of production. Use precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify finished products meet specifications.Blueprint Reading & Problem Solving: Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and documentation to guide machining processes. Monitor machines during operations, troubleshooting, and adjusting for optimal performance.Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance to ensure machines run efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company standards.QualificationsMust-Haves: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder. Proven experience setting up and operating CNC machines with a strong understanding of machining processes. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in precision measuring tools and maintaining tight tolerances. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to make necessary adjustments for machine optimization. Demonstrated long work tenures (no frequent job changes).
