The Position (Summary):The After Market Sales Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company's aftermarket sales. The successful candidate will be an experienced technical sales professional with a track record in proactive customer interaction and achieving sustained revenue and earnings growth. The position will direct and control the operation of the Aftermarket Department and will interface closely with all other departments to ensure an effective customer service 24/7/365.Minimum Essential Requirements:Strong computer navigation and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel experienceExpert level experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management softwareTechnical knowledge of low volume, high value capital equipment preferably within the tire and rubber industryProactively promote the sale of replacement parts and support services, and achieve annual parts and service sales objectivesResponsible for all aspects of the company's technical sales and services to customersDirect and control operation of the Aftermarket Sales TeamOrganize and operate a 24-hour customer support facilityWork with other departments to achieve minimum 95% on-time deliveryImplement new technology to enhance customers supply chainDirect the demand side of the Aftermarket Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) teamDirect pricing/sales strategy for existing and new customers purchasing aftermarket componentsPrepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for senior level management, providing insight into sales performance and market/industry trendsDirect, develop, implement, and drive strategic aftermarket business initiatives and metrics for key customers and markets globallyExperienced in working with data analysis, forecasting and reportingPreferred Key Requirements:Service management knowledge in a machinery manufacturing settingCapital equipment sales and/or technical service experienceExperience in marketing literature preparation and use of digital and web-based media for marketing purposesManufacturing experience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365)Tire/rubber industry experienceExperience and Education:Experience: 9+ years' supervisory experience in a technical sales position, preferably in a manufacturing environmentEducation: Technical Degree, advanced degree or equivalent combined with relevant job specific experienceCommunication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communicationTechnology:Expert level use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)ERP/MRP (Microsoft D365) and Business Intelligence desiredPosition will require daily utilization of Microsoft Teams, D365, and Microsoft Office SuiteTravel Requirements:25-40%, Domestic and InternationalSupervisory Responsibilities:This position will supervise the Aftermarket Sales Team MembersWork Environment & Culture:The work environment (physical requirements) is described below, and the company culture is dedicated to fostering a very strong environmental health and safety program.
