Qualifications: Prior experience as an Activity Director or in a related activities/recreation role in long-term care preferred. Activity Director Certification (ADC) required. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a diverse calendar of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to meet residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. Lead group and one-on-one activities that promote engagement and well-being. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to support individualized care plans. Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and community involvement. Supervise and train activity assistants and volunteers.
