Meade, MD Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Employment Type: Full-Time Company: QueveraPosition OverviewQuevera is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer 0 to support mission-critical systems at Ft. Meade, MD. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with a technical degree and a strong desire to learn, grow, and build a career in systems and software testing within the Intelligence Community.The Test Engineer 0 will work under the guidance of senior engineers to assist with system testing, integration, and validation activities, while learning best practices in test planning, execution, automation, and CI/CD-enabled environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport installation, integration, and testing of operational equipment and softwareAssist in executing manual test cases and documenting test resultsSupport system integration testing efforts for small to medium componentsLearn and apply test methodologies, tools, and processes used in mission environmentsAssist with test data collection, basic analysis, and defect documentationParticipate in automated testing efforts and gain exposure to test frameworks and scriptingSupport Linux-based environments and gain experience with scripting and automation toolsCollaborate with senior test engineers, developers, and systems engineers to improve system qualityFollow established engineering standards, security requirements, and testing proceduresRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline)Four (4) years of work experience may be substituted for a degreeStrong interest in software testing, systems engineering, or quality assuranceWillingness and ability to learn testing tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languagesBasic understanding of software development concepts and operating systemsStrong attention to detail, documentation skills, and a team-oriented mindsetAbility to work in a secure, mission-focused environmentPreferred (Nice-to-Have) SkillsExposure to Linux or Unix-based systemsFamiliarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or ShellCoursework or internships involving software testing, automation, or DevOps conceptsInterest in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern testing practicesWhy QueveraQuevera is a people-first company that invests in developing talent at every stage of their career.
