We are looking for dedicated staff member to help us build efficiencies and create a clean space, while also experiencing their own personal growth in an supportive working environment. This position is part-time and based in Shelocta, Pennsylvania. Personal transportation is required to get to and from the work location.Essential FunctionsComplies with Commonplace Coffee's safety and sanitation standards.Scraping, racking, washing, and unloading dishware.Ensures all areas of the bakery are stocked with clean dishware.Maintains upkeep of three bowl sink and cleaning area.Clears and maintains work stations and equipment.Empties garbage.Performs other duties as assigned or directed.QualificationsStrong attention to detail and respect for cleanliness and sanitation.High integrity and personal responsibility.Openness to criticism and constantly striving to improve.Ability to multi-task with ease.Physical DemandsStand and walk - must be able to stand for 4-8 hour shifts and move about the shop.Perform repetitive tasks - must be able to complete repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and forearms.Taste and smell - must be able to detect and perceive smells.Oral communication - must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with customers and team members.Carry weight, lift - must be able to lift up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.Work EnvironmentIn-person: Work is performed at the Commonplace Coffee bakery in Shelocta, Pennsylvania.The work environment can be noisy, hot, or cold.This job involves working closely with other individuals in an environment with limited space.Additional DetailsHourly, part-time; 20-25 hours per week.This position reports to the Bakery Manager.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.Additional BenefitsPaid Time Off.Medical, Dental and Vision Plans with 50-75% employer coverage.401(k) Retirement Savings Program.Parental Leave.Company Discounts.Salary $11 - $12 per hour
