ER Registrar

Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate patient data during the registration process, including insurance verification as well as necessary signatures. To present a professional and caring image to patients, visitors and hospital staff. Managing responsibilities effectively and efficiently to avoid interference with patient care.QUALIFICATIONS: Education Required: High School Diploma/GED License(s) Required None Experience/Skills: 6 Months experience as an ER Registrar is preferred.PC Proficient with knowledge of Medical TerminologyBi-lingual Spanish/English Required.Knowledge of EPIC preferredTyping - Minimum 25-30 wpmAccurate attention to detail.Able to work with minimal supervision.Must be a TEAM PLAYER.WORKING CONDITIONS: Emergency Room Area
