Job Type Full-timeDescriptionAssist with on-site managerial and operational leadership necessary to accomplish the specified educational goals and to assure the overall success of the academic program.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Enforce the student discipline Code of Conduct.Supervise before and after school activities.Attend extra-curricular activities on a regular basis.Work with parents to encourage participation in their child's learning experiences.Maintain accurate and complete records as required.Serve as coordinator of team leaders from each subject area.Foster a positive and collaborative school culture that engages staff, students, parents, and the wider community.Maintain open, effective communication with supervisor, colleagues, and community stakeholders.Exercise sound judgment and seek counsel with necessary to fulfill responsibilities at a high level.Works in coordination with School Leader to support all school programming and operationsWorks in coordination with School Leader to oversee department leadsCorresponds with school board as needed, assists in preparing board reportsAssists in maintaining compliance with student data functions, pupil accounting, state testing, special education, social work, and all school servicesAssists with grant planning and grant maintenanceRequirements State of Michigan Administrator Certificate or enrollment into an approved school administrator preparation program within six months of the hire date.
