The ideal candidate will create an interactive experience that feels more like gym class with music. Incorporating movement, rhythm games, group singing, dance, and team-based activities in an engaging and inclusive environment.The summer camp operates from June through August, with staff training beginning in June. This position requires working both indoors and outdoors and remaining active throughout programming.QualificationsExperience working with children in a group settingBackground in music, performing arts, education, or recreation preferredComfortable leading large, active groups of children ages 4-12Energetic, organized, and dependableAbility to remain physically active for extended periodsCPR certification preferredEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan and lead daily interactive music and movement sessionsCreate age-appropriate, engaging activities that encourage participationPrepare materials and maintain organization of suppliesSupervise campers and enforce camp safety guidelinesCommunicate effectively with the Camp Director and staffServe as a positive role model for campersPerformance StandardsPerformance will be evaluated based on:Quality and energy of programmingCamper engagement and participationProfessionalism and reliabilityAdherence to Club policies
