Description & RequirementsCome join our family at In-N-Out Burger! We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Painter based out of our Baldwin Park, CA facility. This position will be responsible for the prep and painting of In-N-Out Burger restaurant locations and other company facilities throughout Southern California.General ResponsibilitiesPaint the interior and exterior of In-N-Out Burger restaurants and other company facilitiesUse brush and roller, airless, HVLP, and a variety of paint productsMake on-site preparations such as building scaffolding (i.e. use of ladders/boom lifts), covering fixtures, etc. Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc.Operating, maintaining and cleaning all equipmentCompleting necessary paperworkCompletion of work orders and projects in a timely mannerPre-painting preparation including supply estimation, scraping, patching, sanding and clean upPainting of restaurants and other company facilitiesFollow all health and safety precautionsWork Schedule + BenefitsTemporary Full-time position, Hourly, Non-Exempt - This position can lead to a permanent position with in 90 daysPay Range is $26.50-$30.50 per hour (Journeyman Painter) The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors. 4 nights per week, 10-hour shifts Work Days: Tuesday-Friday or Monday-Thursday (weekends necessary as needed) Hours: Graveyard shift: 12:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.Department needs will call for occasional overtimeWarehouse location: Baldwin Park, CA. Ideally the candidate would live within 40 miles of the Baldwin Park warehouseTravel: Driving is required throughout Southern CaliforniaCompany van and Painting tools will be providedTravel: 45% travel out of town and out of state, including overnight hotel stays for up to a week or moreIn-N-Out Burger offers the following benefits to Temporary Associates: 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan and sick timeEligibility criteria must be met for 401k participation. Permanent Associate Benefits: Excellent full-time Benefits, to include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Profit Sharing Plan and 401(k) retirement PlanQualificationsMinimum of two (2) years experience as a PainterSuccessful completion of a Painting apprenticeship preferredExcellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply themAbility to use appropriate tools (paint brushes, caulking guns, etc.)Familiarity with OSHA general safety practices for the painting industry preferredAbility to travel and be out of town for up to a week or more; Out of town travel can occur once a month or every other month, depending on the Painting projectIn-N-Out Burger associate/store experience preferred; Must be in good standing with the store Great attention to detailRepresent the company in a positive and professional mannerPhysical requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
