Summary:Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a steady 2nd shift opportunity in a growing manufacturing environment? QTI is seeking an experienced professional to join our client's team in Watertown, WI. As part of the 2nd shift crew, you'll be relied on to keep production moving by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of equipment and systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Support safe and efficient plant operations by following all safety and quality standardsInspect, test, and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and PLC-driven systemsDiagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtimeRead and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance proceduresInstall, adjust, and troubleshoot both new and existing production equipmentKeep accurate records of maintenance work and preventive tasks in the systemPartner with fellow technicians, engineers, and supervisors to identify improvements in safety, equipment performance, and product qualityContribute to ongoing training, process improvements, and team developmentMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment consistent with 5S standardsQualifications:High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial settingStrong background working with hydraulics, mechanical systems, and PLCsProven troubleshooting skills with the ability to think quickly under pressureAbility to read technical instructions and documentation and apply them effectively on the jobComfortable with computers (Word, Excel, Windows) for maintenance logging and reportingStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetPhysically able to stand for long shifts, bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally push/pull up to 75 lbs)
