We strive to create welcoming and enjoyable living environments for all residents, ultimately driving income growth for property owners.JOB SUMMARY:The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments.CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-ExemptSHIFT: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pmCOMPENSATION: $18-$22/hourESSENTIAL DUTIES:Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.Assist in the cleaning of available units and models.Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems.Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager.Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.RequirementsREQUIREDHigh school Diploma or GEDAbility and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and customer service skillsPREFERED:Bilingual or multilingual skillsExperience with OneSite or other property management softwareBENEFITS:Medical, Dental, and VisionSupplemental Insurance availableEmployer paid Life, AD&D, LTD, and STD401k PlanPaid Vacation TimePaid Sick TimeOpportunity for career advancement and continued educationWe are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
