Employment Special Counsel (EPLI Work)Labor & Employment Practice GroupLocation: Flexible (Remote) - see applicable states at end of this descriptionREMOTEOur client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Special Counsel to join its sophisticated Labor & Employment practice, focusing exclusively on Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) matters. This fully remote, full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a highly regarded employment litigation team handling complex, high-stakes matters for prominent clients across multiple jurisdictions.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in state of residence, in good standing8+ years of substantive in employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on EPLI mattersSignificant experience handling employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination matters Proven ability to manage EPLI cases from inception through resolution Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong advocacy and client-facing capabilitiesAbility to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a national teamDemonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling highly sensitive and confidential mattersKey ResponsibilitiesHandle a full caseload of EPLI matters, including litigation, mediation, and pre-litigation counselingRepresent insureds and insurers in employment-related disputes across state and federal forumsDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement documentation with a high level of precision and strategic insightAdvise clients on employment law risk management and litigation strategyCollaborate with attorneys and firm professionals nationwide on complex employment mattersMaintain strict compliance with ethical obligations and firm policies regarding confidentiality and sensitive informationWhy Join Us?This role offers a rare opportunity to join a nationally respected employment law team while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote practice.
